Some Great Books To Read
If you’ve worked with me before, you’ve heard me annoyingly say “it’s never really about the planner.”
What I do is causal coaching, which means we don’t just buy planners or come up with goals around what we’ll achieve in a day and wonder why we don’t get everything done.
We get to the root of why you want your goal, and what I teach is that it’s all based on your thoughts, which actually drives the actions you end up taking (or not taking).
If you can manage our thoughts, you can really achieve anything you want.
I like to use the example of people who get a new job or a promotion, then still feel unhappy. They take all the action but they don’t address the true cause – their thinking about work.
All that to say, I still love to read, still love a crisp page to plan on, and I do often get asked “what are your recommendations?”
So, here they are :

The Happiness Trap by Dr Russ Harris
The Art of Believing on Purpose by Bev Aron
I Feel Bad About My Neck (And Other Thoughts On Being A Woman) by Nora Ephron
Loving What Is by Byron Katie
When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron
