Ready for a Mid-Year Reset? Let’s Do This! 🌟

People usually fall into two categories when it comes to goal setting.

First, there are those who say, "I don’t need to set any goals at the moment; I'm feeling pretty good with life."

But then, when you dig a little deeper, you find out they're drinking too much wine every night, crashing on the couch with Netflix and chocolate, or slamming their laptops shut at six o’clock because they’re DONE with work.

These folks often feel like they have zero time for any goals, which is kind of an awful place to feel like you're in. Or they’re turning away from the part of themselves that does want to dream bigger and set goals.

Then, there’s the second group. These goal-setting enthusiasts get excited about every free class, follow every Instagram account, and save every post about goal-setting. (This is me, by the way!)

I love seeing how people run their day, their routines, and how they set goals. But, after all that excitement, those goals often end up in a journal, and five or six months later, they’re buried in a drawer (don’t forget my photo), replaced by other stuff that’s happened during the year.

I don’t want you to be in either of those spots if you don’t want to be.

I know you always say to me, "I think there's something bigger for me. I know there's something more." And I believe you!

But unless we put focus on that, it’s just not going to happen. The reason we might not want to focus on it is that it seems too overwhelming.

It’s like, "How on earth will I change careers? Or lose 10 kilos? Or write a book?" It sounds cliché, but these things are built on tiny steps that get you to the big goal. You only need to see the next step, not the whole staircase, right?

That’s what the Mid-Year Reset is all about. Let’s use all of these activities to determine your next baby steps so they don’t feel overwhelming.

So you can see, "I just need to do X, Y, and Z," and then you’ll be on your way to getting those goals. There’s no better feeling.

You got this, and I’m here to help every step of the way!
